When Rhonda brought Larry to Alaska before they got married, I was not having it. No one was good enough for my aunt Rhonda. By the end of of the day I was pretty on board with this Larry guy. By the end of the week, I was excited to have a new uncle and bonus cousins!

I often hear Larry’s voice in my head when I succeed in something “All right Matt!”. That will be with me forever.

Uncle Larry was the kindest, most freely loving person I have ever met. The world is a little dimmer with out him, and heaven all that much brighter.

You will echo in our hearts, and always be a shining example of what love really is.

My uncle was one of the kindest, most loving and compassionate people I have ever known. I’m so deeply touched by his life and am so grateful for his presence in my life. Loving him always ❤️ although the grief is vast, the depth of love that I feel is even bigger

Larry was a dear, sweet friend to Bob and me! We met at Palm Desert Church of Christ in Indio, California! We found out we were both living in RVs in parks just across the street from each other! It didn’t take long before we were going out to eat together, traveling together, and worshipping God together! We had tons of fun times together and made many memories which we will cherish forever!

I would wake up MANY mornings with a text from Larry (he was an early riser)! He always wished us a good day and told us how much he loved us! Larry was an encourager, and always found the best in everyone! I will miss hearing from him!

When Larry worked at Boot Ranch Golf Club in Fredericksburg last year, he drove by our house on the way to work and he always gave a “honk-honk” as he went by. I’ll miss him not being there at Metzger Market where he was always wanting to give us free Boot Ranch ice cream! 🤣 And I’ll miss seeing him go by on his way home and giving a “honk-honk”!

We had travel plans for this summer! Larry and Rhonda were going to caravan to Texas with us, and then we were going to see them again up in Petoskey, Michigan in August!

A very good friend gone too soon! 😢 We are thankful we will see him again one day up in heaven!!! ✝️

Larry was an example of a true brother in Christ. Cindy and I were truly blessed by him. We will always remember his positivity and gratitude. His motto will always ring in our ears, “Ain’t it great”.
